Open Again!! 

The ground is now frozen a little bit and colder weather is here to stay I think.  That means our customers will not get stuck in the mud.  After only one day of close down, we expect to be open through Sunday the 23rd.  We still have plenty of trees, so if you don't have one yet, come on over and pick out your perfect tree!
 We're sorry for the inconvenience if you were planning to come in the rain on Thrus, 12/20.  Hope your holidays are going great!

                  ~ Cut Your Own Christmas Tree!

        Christmas is a time to share with family and friends.  What better way than to gather for an adventure in the great outdoors and cut your own Christmas Tree?  (PS:  You are not depleting the supply of trees! New trees are planted to replace those cut out.) 
        Ide Christmas Tree Farm is a real farm with real trees growing
on 35 acres of land located between Downers Grove, Darien and
Woodridge.  The Ide family has been selling Christmas Trees for
more than 55 years here.  We have over 45,000 trees growing with
several varieties of Spruce and Pine to choose from.
        Our operation is basically "self serve".  Just bring the family. 
Park along the edge of one of our fields.  Hike as much or as little
as it takes to find the "Perfect Tree" for your family.  You cut it down.  (We have saws available for a $5. deposit.) You take the tree back to
your car. (Tree hauler wagons are available.)  You tie the tree to your car.  (Twine is available.)  You pay us as you drive out and we wish you a Merry Christmas!  That's it!  No gimmicks.  No distractions. 
Just family time dedicated to preparation for the Holidays.

We have a great selection of trees for this year (up to about 15 feet tall) and at the same great price for the 6th year now!
